Quality After-Hours Medical Care — In the Comfort of Your Home
When your regular GP is closed, Hello Home Doctor Service delivers trusted after-hours medical care directly to your home, residential aged care facility, or retirement village.
We are a fully accredited medical deputising service, working in partnership with local general practices to ensure continuity of care. Following each consultation, a detailed clinical report is sent to your regular GP, helping maintain seamless and coordinated ongoing healthcare.
Our priority is to provide safe, compassionate, and professional care — when and where you need it most.
After-Hours Consultation Periods
Our after-hours doctor service operates during the following times:
• Weeknights: 6:00 PM – 8:00 AM
• Weekends: From 12:00 PM (midday) Saturday to 8:00 AM Monday
• Sundays & Public Holidays: 24 hours
Our call centre operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including all public holidays, so you can request care at any time.
Billing & Eligibility
• We bulk bill eligible patients* with a valid Medicare or Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) card for home visits and telehealth consultations.
• Overseas students with recognised private health insurance (e.g. OSHC with BUPA or Medibank) may also be eligible for bulk billing.
• Patients without Medicare, DVA, or accepted private health cover will be advised of the applicable service fee at the time of booking.

Doctors aim to attend within a few hours, subject to demand and location.
