Future Forgeworks plans to deliver the first Australian steel mill in 30 years. Built with an electric arc furnace and continuous mill technology, our circular economy-driven project will use local scrap metal to produce low-emissions reinforcing bar for construction companies in Queensland and across Australia.
The Swanbank Green Steel Mill will create over 200 jobs and enable more than 500 jobs across the broader supply chain, driving economic growth and fostering long-term employment opportunities in advanced manufacturing and sustainable infrastructure.
