The Ipswich Chamber of Commerce hosts a range of events throughout the year designed to connect, inform, and inspire our members. From networking opportunities to business-focused workshops and expos to promote our members, our events are a cornerstone of the vibrant business community in Ipswich.
The Chamber hosts a variety of events, including:
- Business After 5 – Ipswich’s premiere networking event, held regularly by the Ipswich Chamber
- Business Excellence Awards – Annual awards to showcase the best of local business, culminating in a gala dinner held.
- Business, Careers & Jobs Expo – connecting employers, education and training providers, and support services with current and future job seekers
- Ipswich Home & Property Expo – connecting local businesses with homeowners, renovators and buyers
- Workshops & Seminars – professional development and business skills sessions

Business After 5
First launched in 2008, Business After 5 is now a mainstay of the Ipswich Chamber’s many networking opportunities.
As the No. 1 Networking organisation in the Ipswich Region, our Business After 5 events provide our members with the opportunity to network with like-minded business people in an informal setting. These monthly events also give our members the regular opportunities to promote their business and form stronger relationships with their current customers, meet potential new customers and suppliers, and be part of a supportive network for members to create and maintain a dynamic business connections.
