STAR Community Services

STAR is a non-profit, community organisation providing, aged care and disability support service to over 15,000 vulnerable people. Since 2017, merging with CODI, STAR has supported thousands of Ipswich residents to live independently, connect with their community and achieve their goals. Last year, STAR operated just under 16000 trips in Ipswich transporting the elderly and people with disability to their social and medical appointments. STAR’s Secret Santa Appeal has been bringing holiday cheer to Ipswich Seniors for last 5 years. In 2023, 351 isolated Ipswich seniors, received gift hampers – gathered, wrapped and delivered by STAR volunteers.
