We are a local community club based in the Ipswich area with our local trails being our club base at Walloon and Castle Hill, Blackstone Reserve.
You will often see our club members riding in these two locations however we are spoilt for choice with Hiddenvale Adventure park close by. If it’s a longer endurance ride/social ride we will often use the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail (BVRT) and various gravel roads in the area.
On many weekends we hold social and training rides all over South East Queensland, including around the Brisbane areas taking in the various trail locations on offer. Many of which are listed on our website under Where we ride.
Our club is an inclusive and supportive environment for junior riders and adults of all ages and abilities. Whether you are just starting out no matter the age, or looking to progress further, all are welcome. Join us and enjoy getting active and riding with like minded people. We are also the lead club of the Wild West Summer XCO Series, local XCO club racing we hold each Summer, in partnership with various other clubs across SEQ.
2026 is going to be a major year for the club as we have been awarded hosting rights for 2 major cycling events in the Ipswich area:
July 11th & 12th – Cyclocross National Series Double Header races at Walloon
November 7th & 8th – QLD State Championships XC (Cross Country) Mountain Biking at Castle Hill Blackstone Reserve
