After many years of supporting young people in traineeships, my focus has turned to the yawning gap in assisting mature-aged people into the workforce. For whatever reason, mature-aged people are unemployed and facing discrimination because of their years. Upon completing my courses, participant’s current knowledge is validated whilst being brought into current expectations of the workplace. Mostly though, they have the opportunity to not be isolated, to network with similarly-aged people who have such a wealth of knowledge. Resumes and cover letters, application tips, as well as government incentives, assist these people to gain employment.
My business is currently undergoing rebranding, new Facebook page and website. Exciting times ahead.
