New Business of the Year
The Best in Health & Wellness Award recognises leadership through the practical application of innovative health and wellness businesses and organisations and their practices. All Healthcare and Allied Healthcare and those in the Wellness industries are encouraged to nominate and submit their businesses for this award to recognise the outstanding achievements of the Health & Wellness industry locally during a pandemic. Healthcare, Health, Allied Health and Wellness organisations that have successfully introduced innovative solutions to their organisations activities that have driven a local health, healthcare and wellness solution for the community, business, economic, social or environmental outcome are celebrated through the Best in Health & Wellness Award.
Tourism / Event of the Year
This category is open to companies or individual events which have a tangible and demonstrated influence on tourism to the Ipswich Region.
Young Business Person of the Year
Open to all business men and women aged 35 years and under as at 20th September 2021. This award is for outstanding and successful contribution to business in the last twelve (12) months, representing industry, commerce and possibly taking their business to a new level. The business person will be a business owner or in a management position. The business activities should be seen to bring benefits to the Ipswich Community.
Education, Training & Skilling Award
The Best in Education, Training & Skilling Award recognises leadership through the practical application of innovative skilling and capability practices for new and existing market needs. Education, training or skilling organisations that have successfully introduced innovative education, training and/or skilling solutions to their organisations activities that have driven a local employment, education, training or skilling, business, economic, social or environmental outcome are celebrated through the Best in Education, Training & Skilling Award.
Business of the Year
This award is open to businesses with ten (10) or more full time equivalent employees, established in the Ipswich Region for longer than 2 years.
Customer Service Award
A business or individual may be nominated for this award.
Community Involvement
This award recognises the efforts of business and individuals within the Ipswich Community whose contribution to the community are above and beyond those normally expected, by way of generous donations, community service and / or philanthropy.
Business Person of the Year
Open to all business men and women aged 36 years plus as at 20th September 2021. This award recognises the efforts of business and individuals within the Ipswich Community whose contribution to the community are above and beyond those normally expected, by way of generous donations, community service and / or philanthropy.
Small Business of the Year
This award recognises the crucial role Small Business plays in the economy and as an employment generator. It is limited to businesses that employ under 10 full time equivalent employees and have been established for longer than two years.
